THIS RECIPE MADE
LET'S EAT FICTION!
2 lbs ground beef or turkey
2 (1.25 oz) packets of taco seasoning
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup water
2 (15 oz) jars salsa con queso (ready-made nacho cheese dip)
24 taco shells
pickled jalapeno slices
Place ground beef/turkey in large pan/skillet and break up with spoon or spatula. Cook until completely browned (meat will be gray if using turkey) and there is no more pink left. Drain grease.
Add taco seasoning, salt, pepper and water. Let simmer on medium low for 15 minutes until most of the water has evaporated. Remove from heat and set aside.
Pour both jars of queso into a medium-size saucepan and heat on medium-low until hot and bubbly.
Place taco shells on a foil-lined baking sheet and heat in oven for 5 minutes at 325 degrees (F).
Fill hot shells with taco meat until 2/3 full. Top with hot queso and garnish with jalapeno slices and sour cream.
